AAAARGGGH SPIDERS

24 Sep 2014

In English we are reading the story 'Aaaaargh Spider'

We went on a spider hunt...

We saw this kind of spider in the garden. There were about 15 spiders.

Miss Jordaan does NOT like spiders. She has a fear of spiders and this is called arachnophobia. She was very brave in this picture of her and the hairy spiders.....

We had a look at non-fiction books about spiders. We found some very interesting facts. There were also pictures of some very weird looking spiders.

We wrote down some sentences about spiders. We used our key spider words.

Can you read our spider key words?

BEWARE!!!!!!
The spiders took over our classroom.

Melissa enjoyed looking after our class pet spider!

We found these 2 spiders outside year 1 SN's classroom.

We took our time to create this humongous tarantula.

 Have you seen this spider?

This web looks like a safety net.
